Becky Ada Nkemakonam was born on 16th of September, 2009. Her parents are Mr. Nkemakonam Eugene & Mrs. Uche Nkemakonam, She hails from Arochukwu L.G.A in Abia State, Nigeria.


Becky’s singing skills was discovered by her parents when she was 3 years old, and this prompted them to enrol her in a music school in London where she learnt how to play the piano. Enjoy this lovely music by this Child Star who is God fearing, respectful, loving and sociable.

Newborn baby found dead in a well; mother not known (graphic photos)

The body of a newborn baby was found in a well in the northern part of Nigeria and it is believed to have been dumped there by the mother.
The baby's body was found floating in the well by a neighbour who then raised alarm. Residents gathered around the well and fetched the baby out using a fetching bucket. 
Photos from the scene was shared on Facebook by Musa Adamu.
The baby's mother is still unknown but efforts are being made to trace her.

Senate asks banks to allow up to N40,000 per withdrawal from their ATMs and asks CBN to suspend card maintenance fee 

 

The Senate has passed a resolution calling on the Central Bank of Nigeria to suspend the ATM card maintenance charges being deducted from customers' accounts per month. They also called on commercial banks to configure their machines to dispense up to N40,000 per withdrawal.
The Senate made this known via a tweet @SPNigeria. This resolution came as part of a motion on the illicit and excessive bank charges on customers accounts, sponsored by Senator Olugbenga Ashafa, representing Lagos East.

Mentally challenged persons evacuated from the streets of Anambra State

In compliance with the directive of the Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano, to rid the streets of Anambra of mentally ill persons, the Commissioner For Children and Women Affairs, Lady Ndidi Mezue, on Wednesday, participated in the raid that netted a number of mentally challenged individuals, who were picked up and relocated to Nteje Home for mentality challenged persons.
